I gave Fred a ride from Social Graph Foo Camp to the SF aiport and we had a great conversation about little ski areas in NY’s capital region where we’re both from. He told me about Maple Ski Ridge in Schenectady (which is still in operation!) and I shared one of my favorites — Alpine Meadows in Porter’s Corners.

In addition to upstate NY skiing, Fred is also an authority on social networking, and his blog rocks. 

if you are in Mammoth next weekend, plan to come check this out. The MLTPA team runs a great show, and it’s a great cause.
